PIONEER DVD-RW DVR-112D Mac Pro Superdrive, can't burn DVD-R over 2.4x?
Most recent patch for Leopard. I could have sworn my dvd burner would burn DVD-R media over 2.4x. I noticed after the recent patch that instead of 6 or 10m burns they were taking 20+ minutes.
I checked the detected rate and OSX seems to think this drive is only capable of a maximum of 2.4x. The Pioneer DVR-112D model is advertised to burn up to 18x and the media (same as before the patch, Phillips and Verbatim)is rated at 16x.
