Have UK credit card & billing address, live in Hong Kong - any good?

I apologise if this has come up before (I did search the forum first) - but I would like to know if I can use iTunes UK Store on a Hong Kong IP address/Windows computer by using my British credit card, which has a British billing address. Any help appreciated.

Probably. I don't have access to the terms of service for iTunes from this computer. However, Apple does apparently reserve the right to use things such as IP addresses to determine if there is fraudlent territorial access. And, there are anecdotal reports that IP address restrictions have been used to prevent the rental of movies outside the U.S. even by legitimate U.S. account holders. Given that you have both a legitimate U.K. credit card and billing address, you should be within the terms of service but you should read them your self. If you scroll all the way to the bottom of the main iTunes Store window, you can change the store to the UK store and then click on the Terms of Service link at the very bottom.

Joe... did you ever get your problem solved? I'm suffering from a similar problem as an American living in Germany (more or less permanently) and the system doesn't seem to like my American Master Card here either. If I try to use an American address, it ******* because it says that my home address on the card is in Germany. Super eh?

Do you have a German based credit card and a billing address registered in Germany?
