Can I use TM to do this..?

I am using TM to do regular backups of my main internal drive to an external 1TB FW HD. In addition, I have added two 1TB internal drives. On the 1st one I have about 700GB of video. I want to back up that video to the 2nd 1TB internal hard drive. Can this be done with TM? Specifically, can you back up two different drives on the same machine to two different locations? If not, what is the best method? Should I purchase SuperDuper and use it to do backups of the video HD?
Thanks,
Marc

No, Time Machine can not be set up to back up two different drives to two different locations.

SuperDuper can handle the second backup set for your video files. The paid version will allow you to set up schedules for this to work on a regular basis.

You can also set up SuperDuper to create a bootable clone to one of your drives as a system backup so that you can get back to work immediately and run diagnostics against your original boot drive. I run this on a weekly schedule. I designed it as a stripped down version of my regular boot drive, without most of my files because they can be replaced by TM and I just wanted a bootable backup with key files like emails, calendar, etc. I excluded my photo's, movie files, old project folders, and download folders from the bootable clone.

Thanks for the reply. I will get SuperDuper to do my video backups.

Thanks for the suggestion about the bootable backup. Before I saw this reply, I had actually just read a reference you made to this in another thread. I posted a question to you there regarding that. Refer to the thread, "New Feature".
Thanks,
Marc
