Casio camera doesn't show when connected

Previous to Tiger this worked fine but now hooking up a Casio EX-52 camera via its USB dock doesn't show up on the desktop as a mounted drive nor does it launch iPhoto. If I launch iPhoto manually it still doesn't see the camera. I have tried this on three different Tiger machines and with different USB cables and have read another user report on Macintouch reporting the same problem so the issue definitely seems to be Tiger.

Cary,
You may be correct regarding the incompatibility issue; I haven't researched your camera and assume it uses some form of flash memory. A few things you could try:

-Use a card reader
-Format the card in the camera
-Format the card in a card reader
-Check to see if there is any firmware update for your camera
-Check your settings for image capture/iphoto and make sure your mac has all the available updates

Did you install any Casio drivers or software? If so see if there is an update.

You may also want to create a new user just to see if there is some issue with your account. I know you have tried with different USB cables, but just to make sure could you try turning your computer off, disconnecting everything, waiting a minute or so, then only connecting the dock cable and any necessary input devices and trying again?

Good Luck
