Error -37

Question

Error -37

I'm trying to import a .dv movie into iMovie (06 and also 08) and on both I get an error "-37"
What does it mean?
I can't find any previous message with this error.
Any help is welcome.

maybe the file is corrupt. try a firewire capture from your camcorder.

I've tried with different files and always get the same error.
These files were converted from MPEG-4 to DV using MPEG Streamclip.
They play well, but I need to edit them, so, I'm trying to bring into iMovie.

-37 (bdNamErr) - Bad file name
Check the file's name for any 'special' characters which may not be allowed, esp. /, |, \, &, . , ...

.. I can't find any previous message with this error.

type '- 37' (=with a blank between minus and number), and you'll find a bunch .. 😉
