Removing modem icon from menubar

I just got my MacBook back from Apple service, where everything was reset, and now there's a modem icon in the menu bar. How can I get rid of it?

Hold down the command/Apple key and drag it off the menu

I just love my mac! I have used windows forever... now I learn something new everyday!

I have been trying to get rid of that forever... and all I had to do was press the Command button and drag it off!!!
