Counting unique values in a column

Hello,
I have column in a Numbers spreadsheet that contains around 5000 values (they are ip addresses e.g. 155.69.160.78). There is one value per row. I need to count the number of unique addresses in the column. How can I do this please?

kemamy,

Create a supplementary column with the formula: =IF(COUNTIF(A$1:A1, A2)=0,1,"") Then sum this column.
