Palm GPS, Tom Tom Navigator installation

Hi. I have been looking for a GPS system and came across a Tungsten E2 with a Bluetooth GPS and Tom Tom navigator software. However I’ve been having quite a time installing the Navigator software and maps. The instructions for Macs in the kit and on the support sites for Palm and Tom Tom are virtually non-existent. Having no instructions I stumbled around and figured out how to downloaded the program and maps to the Palm. Or so I thought, the Navigator won’t work. Phoned Palm support only to be told it’s not their problem. I submitted an email to Tom Tom and am waiting for a reply. Googled for help but couldn’t find anything specific. Does anyone out there have a Tom Tom/Palm software for Dummies kind of answer or suggestions on a book? I am running 10.4.2 on a G5 tower. The supplied software is the latest and is Mac compatible.
Thanks, Glen
