Are you sure you want to quit Safari?
1) It is very annoying. Previous versions of Apple's software did not have this
2) When running "Software Update" and a restart is required, I used to be able to start the software update and get up and walk away while the computer does it's thing. However, now if you do that, the software update will NOT run because it gets "stuck" due to Safari sitting there with the window asking you if you want to quit! Of course the way around this is to wait around for the window and then tell it, "Yes, OF COURSE I want to close it---I'm running software update!".
It seems like this is an annoyance that should have some type of preference setting so that you can turn it off if you don't want it. Does anyone know if there is a way to disable this warning window? I called AppleCare, and they were not sure. They said I was the first person to ever ask them this question. There is no way I'm the only person to be annoyed by this new feature, is there?
