IPV6 and rpcbind.

I'm wondering how to configure a Leopard server so that rpcbind will accept IPV6 connections. (think of NFS or CIFS over IPV6) With Linux, one has tirpc and /etc/netconfig. Is there something similar in Leopard ?

As Mike indicated you are out of luck for the moment as NFS over IPv6 is not supported by any of the MacOS X releases up to and including 10.5.x.

If you are needing a way of connecting to a Unix based machine which is IPv6 accessible, then another solution is to use a combination of MacFuse and MacFusion. This will allow you to access the server using ssh and mount a path from the remote machine locally. It certainly has a bit of overhead due to encryption, but it is the best solution available at this time.
