accidental insurance coverage for iphone

Sorry to have all of the questions but I am new with my iPhone 🙂

Does anyone know of a reputable coverage plan which covers accidental damage or lost/stollen iphones?

I would rather get the coverage NOW before its an issue later.

I know that the great Applecare does NOT to date cover accidental damage , theft or stolen iPhones.

Hello,

Apple's warranty / AppleCare Protection Plan does not cover accidental (or intentional) damage, or loss or theft. My understanding is that AT&T does not offer insurance for any of its smart phones, not just the iPhone.

I would definitely recommend you check with the credit card used (if applicable) to purchase the iPod, as some of them offer that type of coverage, or some type of extended warranty coverage. American Express is usually really good for this.

Should something happen to the iPhone in your home or your car you may be able to obtain coverage for the device that way, or through rental insurance, if applicable. Check your policy documentation, or ask your agent.

Good luck,
CG
