Question

photos in a lesser quality after publishing

I have a small logo in my site, and it lookes good in iweb, but its a little bit blurry in safari or firefox after publishing. Is there no way to control the jpg compression in iweb? or is the problem somthing else? I can not find anything about this topic in the forum, but I can not be the only one who are not satisfied with the quality

mac book pro, Mac OS X (10.4.11)

Try turning off "Optimize images on import" in iWeb preferences.

Thank you, but it still dosn't work -there is still a big difference between iweb apperence and how it looks in my browser... you can se my problem in the upperright corner here:

the little bit bigger version of the logo is without optimizing during import..

hello,
i am having the exact same issue as you so i was wondering if you have figured out what is causing the blurriness yet? mine is also a small logo that looks absolutely crystal clear in iWeb, but as soon as i publish it there is blurriness in the middle.

nevermind...i just found the answer in a different thread here and fixed it by making the image a PNG in Photoshop to begin with! awesome!!

i had exactly the same problem with jpegs, tried PNG and its sweet! THANKS! 🙂

coverted from pc to mac, best desicion i ever made with computers, switchin to iphone 3g on 11th july!
