front row , iTunes and movies i rent from iTunes

First i want to say i love Frontrow.

But when i go into front row and pick movies, the movies that i have rented on itunes are nowhere to be found!!!
I can find movie trailers and the movies that I have created, but none of the movies i have rented.
Does any one know how to solve my problem??
does anyone know if apples is aware and planning to fix this in a future upgrade ?

I agree this is a really bad thing. I use Front Row for all of my media and it is a real drag not to have access to rented movies. I have found it to be problematic to use iTunes to watch rented movies because it behaves somewhat differently from Front Row. I have accidentally started playing a second rented movie trying to fast forward at the end of a movie. Once you do that, of course, you have 24 hours to watch the movie you accidentally started.

Welcome to the Apple Discussions!

I can only guess that Front Row needs an update to have access to those types of protected files. It may also need an update to QuickTime and/or iTunes. Since Apple is usually very quiet about future software updates, we'll probably just have to wait and see. I would suggest, though, that you send Apple some Mac OS X feedback so they're aware that this feature is important to you. While Apple does skim some customer feedback from the Discussions, the feedback form goes directly to the right group to address this issue.

If you use your Mac as a two screen system (along with an HD TV as a second monitor), then Front Row is invaluable.

Unfortunately, not being able to watch your rented movies with this is incredibly surprising from Apple.

Using iTunes to watch shows is very frustrating and it is not designed to use a second monitor... which makes it even more frustrating. That's not including issues related to the remote, and "accidentally" starting to watch a rented movie when fast forwarding...

Is there no workaround??
