A little help with a new PC and my IPT

Hi guys,

Hope some one out there can help me. I am planning to purchase a new PC in the next few days and I have a couple of question about my iPod touch and iTunes.

i) How/Can I transfer my iTunes library (inc. purchased music) to the new PC?
ii) Most likley the new PC will have VISTA as the O/S I have read somplaces that the iPT has issues with syncing and charging on VISTA machines is this correct?

Many thanks for any help 🙂

Assuming you want to transfer from your iPod, please read this:

If you have purchased songs from the iTunes Music Store, then those are pretty easy to transfer to your computer. You'll just need to follow [this instructions|http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=305465].

All your other songs (for example, those ripped from your CD's), you'll need to use any 3rd party program to transfer them to your iTunes library!
Some can also transfer your playlists, videos, ratings, podcast...

*To use with iPod Touch/iPhone and other iPods:*

*To use only with other iPods:*

Well, there are some bugs yet to solve, but nothing you can't live with. Also, iTunes will be releasing updates constantly. One of my computers has Windows Vista SP1 and it works flawlessly.

Hope this helps!
