How do I set up a second email address in mac mail?

I am a .mac subscriber but I also have a personal domain with the email hosted through gmail. I would like to manage this email account through my mac mail application but I can't figure out how to do it. Anyone out there have an answer for me?

Thanks

Thanks Rachel and Sherman. Any idea how I can find out the incoming mail server for gmail?

Yes, you'll find it in Gmail's preferences settings. In Gmail, click on "Settings" at the top of the page. Click on the "Forwarding and POP/IMAP" tab and then click the "Configuration instructions" link under either POP or IMAP - whichever you have decided to use and have enabled. There will be a link for Mail 3.0 instructions with detailed setup steps. 🙂

Thanks again guys for your help with this.

I now have it all set up but I'm running into two problems. I can't seem to get the new address to send from the mail app, it always says disconnected. I've gone in numerous times and checked the outgoing mail server info and according to the instructions everything is right but it just won't send.

Secondly I can't seem to send mail to the address from my .mac account. The site is an iWeb site which seems to be complicating things somehow.

Thanks again for any help you can provide.

Rick

Can you tell us the exact wording of the error message that you get when you try to send?

I'm not quite sure what you mean here. Can you tell us exactly what steps you are following, along with any error messages you get when trying to do this?
