How Do I Speed Up and Save a Video?

Using Quicktime Pro for Mac 7.4.5(25).
I have a video of a 13 minute trip that I want to speed up to a 1 minute video.
The A/V Controls allow for playback speed up of up to 3x but even THAT doesn't resave the video at the higher speed.

Is there anyway to do this with QT Pro, or must I buy another piece of software?
