Is Canon ZR950 compatible with iMovie HD 6.0.3

Sorry for the basic question but i want to be sure before i make this purchase from the Apple Store. The fact that the camcorder does not come with a firewire cable makes me more confused.

If it is miniDV, you are good to go! Most manufacturers don't include the firewire cable, but the Apple store would likely have one to sell you. They can be had online for about $10.00.
