I am new to Mac and Apple. I recently purchased a MacBook Pro. I currently have a 2GB flash drive plugged in the side, and not a #$@^% clue how to eject it. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
Do wait until the drive's icon has disappeared from the desktop and the list of devices on Finder windows before unplugging it. Thankfully and unlike Windows, MacOS won't bombard you with silly popup messages like "you can now unplug the thing safely from the USB port...", but you do have to let it do its work.
