iMac Graphics FW update will not apply

Exactly the same here. I'm not entirely sure why it doesn't up.

I have the same issue. I wonder if we really have the Pro version since the Chipset Model reads only ATI, RadeionHD2600 although the top of the graphics info in System Profiler says "Pro"?

I'm more guessing the updater simply wasn't really meant for the 2600 Pro like the documentation states.

I have the same issue. Won't apply and I am all confused now about what video card I have/was supposed to have!!

Having the same problem, Is it a dodgy update or is the graphics card in my computer not as advertised.

I have the same issue. 24" late 2007 iMac.

Can't update.

I have also reported the issue to macfixit.com and xlr8yourmac.com where others are having the same problem.

I tried an archive and install but still can't update afterwards.
