IDT - Audio - IDT High Definition Audio CODEC update

Today Microsoft posted an new update (IDT - Audio - IDT High Definition Audio CODEC update). It is an optional update. I have a MacBook Pro with SigmaTel sound card, and i was stupid enough to install this update. After installation, sound is gone and windows started to say "no audio output device". I had to uninstall the updated driver and install SigmaTel driver again (did not want to install whole bootcamp stuff again, so i googled for the driver). So my advise is do not install this update.

MacBook Pro 2.16GHz 2GB RAM, Mac OS X (10.5.2), BootCamp Windows Vista x64 SP1

I downloaded the same update and had the same problem. Uninstalling the update or restoring your system will fix the problem. If you're running Boot Camp or an actual Windows machine, don't download this update.
