sorting out itunes and folders

hi,

i was just about to put my itunes folder in a shared folder so that all accounts can access them.

i then noticed that i have about 3 itunes temp folders,4 itunes music library files and 3 different main itunes folders with all the tracks in.

can i consolidate these and get rid of the old folders and library files ?

i also have twice as many tracks in itunes because of trying to consolidate before.

its a right **** up..... haha
