iPod Touch lock but keep screen on

how do i lock the iPod Touch but keep the screen from turning off? I had the option on my 4G iPod that kept the screen on all the time and i like that

MacBook Pro, Mac OS X (10.5.2)

Hey Mike,

There is no option to lock the iPod touch but keep the screen on indefinitely.

You can goto Settings> General> Auto-Lock> and change the time to Never. This will stop the iPod touch from automatically locking.

Another thing you can do is double-click the home button on the iPod touch when the screen is locked, this will bring up the iPod controls by default.
