Question

Cropping and choosing sizes Aperture 2.0

I use the hot keep "C" to pull up the crop tool, is there a hot key to switch the ratio from 3 x 2 to 2 x 3?

Also, My settings show "Constrain to Master Aspect Ratio"

and appears
width 3 and height 2

Is there a way to set default to 2 x 3?

if you have master aspect ratio on and the check box ticked and the image is 2x3 it will crop 2x3 not 3x2 ...

double check the check box ... this works flawlessly for me under 2.1 ... under 1.x you had to manually switch each time ...

Thanks for the reply. Can I switch it to 3 x 2 as default?

Is there a hot key to switch between the aspect?

just choose 3x2 and will stick there ... until you change it again ... unless you are trying to change a 3x2 to a 2x3 ... i think it finally recognizes l vs p orientation and applies the crop the same way ... at least that is the behavior i have noticed ...

afaik, there is now keyboard shortcut for this ... not sure you could even assign one to it thru the customize keyboard ... i really didn't look into that ...

My aperture 2.1 does not have the 3 x 2 option just 2 x 3. I did have it for 1.5. Any suggestions
