Upgrade 7.45 on Leopard not working

Hi!
Tryed, but got an error. Due to a directory damage the repair blabla could not continue.

So the only hope I have, is to connect the PB to my other mac and get all data from that harddrive.

I think I have to reinstall the complete system again.

Anybody with any better idea?? All that only caused by an QuickTime Update??? First time ever I have problem like that - I know these type of problems only on Windows systems... hope this will be the only time on a mac ever.

I installed the OS new and rewinded the data from a TimeMachine backup.
Took a few hours, but worked finally.

Even the question is answered.... this is hopefully the last update by any software that kills the whole machine!
