Screen sharing option disappears
I have a powerbook G4 running 10.4 that has a bad screen. I have it connected via ethernet to my new iMac running 10.5.
When I first set up the connection, the share screen option would appear when I selected the powerbook in the finder window sidebar. I was able to successfully use this to access my powerbook.
Then one day the screen share option was not there. I made no changes to the sharing options on the powerbook or the iMac.
This has happened twice - the first iMac I had had to be replaced because of a hardware problem. I was able to use the screen sharing on that iMac until the option just disappeared one day. When I set up the replacement iMac, I was once again given the screen share option, but it is now gone. Restarting the powerbook and the iMac do not restore the option.
Any ideas what is going on?
