iSync mesage box comes up and conflicts w/ iCal

When opening iCal to use it, I get an iSync message box which reads "There are no conflicts to resolve". dismissing the box has one button choice[quit].

If I press return or click the button the message goes away and iCal bombs to the "Report to Apple" box.

If I ignore the iSync message and start entering data or otherwise use iCal, within a minute iCal bombs.

This message comes up every time I open iCal.
