How to find /usr/local/lib

Where is that folder?

EMac 1.0 GHZ G4, Mac OS X (10.5.2), iPod touch 8GB

Choose Go to Folder from the Finder's Go menu and enter /usr/local/lib/ as the path.

usr is a hidden folder type /usr/local/lib in Finders Go menu and see where it is.

That means that either it doesn't exist or you don't have read access to it; most likely, it doesn't exist on your system.

Ok in /usr/local how do I add that folder? Finder wont let me create new folder /local?

Open the Terminal in the /Applications/Utilities/ folder and run:

sudo mkdir /usr/local/lib

Provide your password, which won't produce anything onscreen while it is being typed.
