iPhone and Motorola H300

I'm having a hard time pairing my iPhone with the Motorola H300 Bluetooth headset. I turn on the headset, and turn Bluetooth on on my iPhone, but nothing happens. The iPhone says it's discoverable, but the headset never appears in the list of devices. Thanks in advance for your help!

MacBook, iPhone, Mac OS X (10.4.11)

Are you putting the Motorola in Pairing Mode?

I have a Moto H700 not sure if the H300 works the same way.

But on the H700 you flip the boom mic closed, Hold down call button till you see a purple light, then flip boom mic open. iPhone will see a Headset Profile, You tap on it and it pairs the 2 together.

I'm not sure how to put the Motorola in Pairing Mode. 😟 It's been forever since I last used the headset on an old phone. The H300 doesn't have a boom mic to open or close.
