Try this... If it is on, shut the Cube down. Then boot the machine, immediately press the Option key, keep it held down. This should bring up
Startup Manager, a blue screen with a few icons on it. Once that has loaded, press the key combo Command-. (Command-periodkey) - this instructs the Mac to open the CD tray on those machines with one, and should cause the ejection of a disk in a machine without a tray.
If that does not work, try a manual removal. With the machine shut down, use a thin strip of plastic (like a flat, flexible ruler) or thin cardboard with double-sided sticky tape affixed to the end of it. Use the tape to snag the disk that's in the drive and ease it out. Even a credit card should be thin and long enough to do the job. Caution - if you get too rough, you can damage some of the drive's components.
