Apple Mobile Device Helper?

Whenever iTunes is running, I keep getting a Microsoft error screen saying "AppleMobileDeviceHelper has stopped working." This screen pops up at least every 10 seconds when iTunes is running. It doesn't matter how often I press the "closs the program" button, it keeps popping up. I like to have iTunes running while I'm on the computer, but it's impossible to with this problem. Does anyone know what I can do to fix it? I'm using a Toshiba laptop and it uses Microsoft Vista, if that helps at all.

Thanks.

You could try reinstalling the Apple Mobile Device Support by opening your Control Panel and going into Programs & Features. Click on Apple Mobile Device Support and remove it. When it's done, remove iTunes as well, as iTunes must be reinstalled in order to reinstall the other utility. After iTunes is uninstalled, restart your computer. Then, go here: http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/ and downoad & reinstall iTunes again.

Good luck!
