Using a Pinnacle Optical Drive PMO 650 with Mac OS 10.5.2 possible?

I have lots of backup files stored on Optical Discs. Is there anyway to get my Pinncale Optical Drive PMO 650 to work with Mac OS 10.5.2? I looked on Pinnacle site, and they suggested FWB's 'Hard Disk Toolkit', ANUBIS by CharisMac, or going on apple suppport. Has anyone used these? Do they work with OS 10.5.2?
