Currently Being ModeratedJul 9, 2008 7:14 AM (in response to zlorf)For what it's worth, I have a G4 Mac mini and have had the same problem. I've tried every combination I can think of, including using Vine server and even sticking a 100 ohm resistor in the video port (http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?messageID=6231896) to no avail. Anytime that I try to start up a second user desktop, I need to have a monitor plugged in.

Doing a full logout brings me to the login screen as normal, and I can login to the other account from there.
But still an annoyance and unless there's something very subtle I'm missing it's a bug not a security issue.
Note: the mini in question is running 10.5.2 (I'm 'screen sharing' in to do the updates), and the accessing MBP is running 10.5.5.Mac OS X (10.5.2)
