Best iPhone case - what's your favorite

I have heard that many iPhone cases scratch the heck out of the iPhone...

What are your thoughts on some of these cases?

I heard the "Agent Zero" iPhone cases are pretty good... any thoughts?

There are tons of cases out there. I use a U-SUIT. It's made of rugged ABS plastic wrapped in leather. It's lightweight, versatile, has a nice 'grip' feeling to it, has a detachable belt clip and the inside is padded, so it won't scratch the phone. It holds the phone nice and tight, but you can pull the phone out easily it you need to get at it quick.

I use Otterbox Defender. For me, it is the absolute best case around. I'm not much into the looks of a case over the function and practicality, so I have stuck with the Otterbox case:

It protects the phone all around. The phone is completely covered-even the screen by way of a thin membrane that still allows full touch function. The case first has a hard shell that goes around the phone then a silicone jacket which covers all ports and offers grip. The case also comes with a holster that I use everyday.

My priority is to keep the phone safe from any drops or bumps so the Defender is the way to go.

Hope this helps.

I like the invisible shield - http://www.invisibleshield.com/smartphone/apple/iphone.php

The material is the same stuff the military puts on the leading edge of helicopter blades. I have dropped my i-phone more times than I can count and the phone looks like new - Once I dropped it real bad on a gravel covered cement parking lot and the shiled took the hit, and actually healed itself - hard to describe but check out the website -

I don't like things on my belt and keep the phone in my pocket this is very nice, have had it for 3 months and love it.

With out a doubt - The Otterbox Defender Case is the best case going - Many of my friends have iPhones - They have now or have had every case imaginable - I read all the reviews and went with the Otterbox Defender Case - I have a few scratches on the Otterbox screen protector - Not one scratch anywhere on my iPhone - I have dropped my phone in this case - No damage at all - I open it up every now and then just to check if my phone has gotten any scratches from the inside of the case - Not one - It works so well that I have bought a second one to have when the built in screen protector gets to scratched for my taste - But - It repels damage so well that i may never need it - The holster also works really well - If you are thinking of an iPhone think of a case first - I had my Otterbox Defender in hand a few days before my phone arrived - It never had a moment without it on and has been great ever since - Bottom line - Buy the case first - Then get the phone - One more thing - The installation instructions that come with the Otterbox are okay - You can see an installation vidieo on the Otterbox Website that makes it an easy move

I bought the cozip case. I did scratch my phone but very minimally around the edges. I also just recently bought the griffin wave for iphone. I paid 24 dollars and the first time i dropped the phone the cases "interlocking Shell" (per advertisment) came apart and i got a major scratch on the back of my iphone. needless to say i was royally po'd. i think for your money and aestethic the cozip is prob best with a screen protecter on the front. but please dont waste your time on the griffin wave

Both the InCase Slider and the Agent 18 look good and do not add bulk--but they will scratch your phone. How that isn't a deal breaker I can't imagine...

My girlfriend has a vaja--looks good but bulky--she calls it an iDiaper.
IvySkin T2 jet black is as good looking as the InCase and Agent 18 but hasn't scratched mine at all and it offers total protection--including screen.

Incidentally, it's tough. I dropped mine head first onto the concrete as I got out of my car. It made a terrible thud sound as it hit. But it protected my phone perfectly and only a tiny little mark was left on the case. The case is a winner--but my experience w. Customer Service at Ivy was horrid.

For elegance - there is really only the Vaja cases. They are quite expensive and you have to wait a few weeks while they are custom made for you in Argentina, but they are worth the wait. Not sure which Vaja case was referred to as "bulky" - but the one I have fits like a glove and only marginally increases the size of the phone/case package. Made from the best leather with no stitching.
