Bluetooth fax modem
I'm trying to setup a Nokia E65 as a bluetooth modem to send a fax. The phone is already setup as a bluetooth device and sync's with iSync perfectly.
In Print & Fax options, I've added E65-Dialup-Networking as a fax device without any problems. However, when printing a document in Pages then trying to send it by fax, it sits in the fax queue indefinitely. The CUPS error messages are:
I [06/May/2008:17:05:43 +1000] [Job 7] Started filter /usr/libexec/cups/filter/cgpdftoraster (PID 23526)
I [06/May/2008:17:05:43 +1000] [Job 7] Started filter /usr/libexec/cups/filter/rastertotiff (PID 23527)
I [06/May/2008:17:05:43 +1000] [Job 7] Started backend /usr/libexec/cups/backend/fax (PID 23528)
E [06/May/2008:17:05:48 +1000] [Job 7] There was a fax protocol error.
E [06/May/2008:17:05:48 +1000] PID 23528 (/usr/libexec/cups/backend/fax) stopped with status 1!
I [06/May/2008:17:05:48 +1000] Hint: Try setting the LogLevel to "debug" to find out more.
I [06/May/2008:17:05:48 +1000] [Job 7] Backend returned status 1 (failed)
There isn't much information available online - and I'm desperate. Someone help me before I pull my hair out!
