Error in Calculator on Mac!

Sry for my bad language, i'm swiss.
so, i found an error in calculator on mac(OS Leopard).
Try 0,14 x 100, it will give a error.
its not possible to insert a 0,... value.
i hope it's only a settings problems.
Else, i wouldn't buy a new mac, because this is a simple math rule what every pc or mac should know.
could you help me?
i am really sad and angry about that, because i paid a lot and i didn't became the quality for that price.

I think the problem lies in what, as I recall, is the European representation of a decimal number. In the US we use 0.14, you use 0,14. The calculator assumes a leading non-significant zero if you type 0.14. Try it 0.14x100=14 on the calculator.

i was at the DataQuest store(Premium Apple Reseller in Switzerland), they didn't knew that
so we try it on a test/sell iMac in the shop, it doesn't work with the "." or with ",".
We try the german layout too, because they use the point too, with the same negative resault.-.-'

i don't know, am i the first user with that problem?
No one else use the calculator? good in math hmm ? 😀
it might be a bug in the swiss layout...
