TO BUY AN IPOD IN THE USA/ACHETER UN IPOD AUX USA

Hi,
I live in France, and I am going to the USA next, as the subject says, I 'd like to buy an IPOD CLASSIC there, so my question is quite simple, can I use the "American" IPOD with NO RESTRICTIONS(if there are some could you tell me which one?) in France? Will I have to buy a voltage adaptator, or the USB voltage will be good to charge the IPOD?
Excuse me if the topic already exists, but I didn't find it, I'll be very pleased if you show it to me, anyway, I thank you for your answers.

The iPod you are going to purchase in USA is the same that you get it from elsewhere.

iPod can be charged via USB cable with a computer, so you do not need to buy an ac charger.
However, only my personal opinion, I prefer to charge my iPod with an ac charger, and you can always charge your iPod even you do not have a computer around. But I suggest you should get one in Francis, at least it does not need a wall adapter. Bear in mind, Apple's iPod ac charger is universal ie. 100-240v.

The iPod sold in the US is definitely NOT the same as those sold in Europe. The European models have an EU imposed volume cap that is not present on the US models - US models can play louder.

Other than that, the devices should be the same. I also cannot say definitively if all iPods come with an international warranty, though the warranty pamphlet that came with mine looks like an international one (lists warrantors worldwide).
