Printing issue with iphoto and comic life

I am having problems printing from iphoto and comic life. No problems printing word documents though. Photos and images start printing but then stop half way. The printer Canon ip6000d is not an issue as I took it for a check. I am using the leopard OS. Can anyone help please?
