any good free daemon tools alternative?

I frequently use daemon tools on my windows computer, but i need to use it on my mac. Is there any alternative to daemon tools that works for mac? I'd like it to be free, as I don't have a lot of money right now, but I would pay some...

You can create and mount images using Disk Utility and DiskImageMounter. Both are built into OS X. If you need something more advanced (i.e. bin/cue image support, etc.) you should get Roxio Toast.

What exactly do you mean by "daemon tools"? Free utilities? Open Source Unix programs? Plenty of both available...

Search [VersionTracker|http://www.versiontracker.com/macosx/index.shtml] to your heart's content. If you are somewhat of a Unix nerd, install the Developer Tools, then install the [Fink Project infrastructure|http://www.finkproject.org/index.php] and gain access to over 8,000 different Open Source Unix programs.
