Question: How to use a Newton Keyboard on a Mac OS X?

I have a mini running leopard. I have a newton keyboard and a keyspan USA-28 USB to Din-8 adapter. I'd like to use the Newton Keyboard since it would be easier to take on the road with my mini.

I installed the appropriate keyspan driver from their site.

I tried to install the software
http://www.sarnau.info/software:newtonkeyboardenabler
but it wouldn't open, saying something like "classic" programs weren't supported.

I've searched for quite a while and haven't found any guidance.

Any help would be appreciated! I never owned a Newton but was given one of the keyboards and the touch of the keys is great. I'd sure like to figure out how to use it with my mini.

Thanks!

Or you could use something like this...

I use one of these keyboards with my Newton via a special home brew adapter. You however are after something that connects by USB to your Mini. The problem you will encounter is finding the " right " keyboard and then having to locate compatible drivers.Hopefully it would just be " plug and play ".
