I am a blog rookie so I sorry if this is a rookie question. I want the readers of my blog to be able to respond. Is this not possible in iweb? Would I (or can I) have to use some other software? Thanks

MacBook Pro, Mac OS X (10.5.2)

Do you have a .Mac account and are you publishing your iWeb blog to .Mac? If so, then there is no problem with the blog, people can leave comments.

Problems only occur if you are not using a .Mac account and are uploading to your domain name with an ftp program such as Fetch or Transmit - certain features will not work and this would be where haloscan comes in.

Hey, I'm having the same problem you were....I created a blog and don't see how other people can use it to post and comment when I visit the actual site. I have a domain name pointing to it and when I enter my URL, the blog is no longer interactive like it is when I'm screwing with it in iWeb. Just wondering if you've found a solution?????

You can only post updates to an iWeb blog using iWeb. 🙂
