Why cant i see youtube videos on firefox?

Your eyes are closed?
Your computer isn't plugged in?
Your firewall is blocking youtube?
Your mom won't let you?

With no other details whatsoever, I'd guess that you don't have a flash plug-in installed. But you didn't give us much to go on. You didn't even have the question you wanted answered in the body of your message.

Are you aware you are in the Apple forums? In particular the Leopard forum.
You seem to be running some foreign OS on some foreign hardware.
Maybe that's your problem.
If you use FireFox with Leopard it works fine.

Hi PurpleMiami;

I notice in your profile it states you are running Windows XP on an eMachince. The only reference I can find to eMachine is for device produced by Gateway. Since nothing you are running has anything to do with Apple why do you think you will get help from us?

My guess is that PurpleMiami hasn't updated his or her profile yet to reflect this change, but does indeed have a Mac running Leopard. 🙂

If PM is running Leopard, why not use Safari?
I have more questions than solutions at this point.

There's a reason we have choices. Some people prefer browsers other than Safari.

Rebooting the computer is always the first thing to try when something that was working fine suddenly doesn't. There are a million reasons why your computer decided it could not play flash files. But it was obviously a momentary "glitch" that the reboot straightened out. Just forget about it. If it happens consistently, then you will need to dig deeper. But these little "annoyances" are an integral part of computing. One of the "problems" with Macs is that because they can run 27/7 for inordinate periods of time, many users forget about rebooting their computers which can be very useful from time to time to allow the computer to "clean house" a bit.

Run DU and repair HD and permissions.
If it's intermittent there is not much to do.
You might look at your system logs when it doesn't work and see what they have to say.

firefox just remembers your passwords

Certainly Safari does this - Very Well - under preferences ==> autofill be sure usernames and passwords is checked
