Can I Combine Separate Pages Documents Into a Single Document?

Does anybody out there know of a way to combine several separate Pages documents into a single document? Each time I write a new policy for my policy manual, I begin with my custom template for policies. Trouble is, each policy is a separate document. I can open them all at once, of course, but then I have to ask each one to print separately when I want to copy the policy manual. Currently there are 64 documents in the policy manual folder.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

dcwdo,

There's a way to do it, and it's actually pretty simple.

Let's say you want to combine Documents B, C, and D ( the source documents) into Document A (the target document). Starting with the first source document, click on View > Show Page Thumbnails. I'm guessing that your entire document is one long section. You'll know this by clicking on a thumbnail and seeing a single yellow box around all your pages. Type cmd-C to copy the thumbnails. Switch over to your target document and click on View > Show Pages Thumbnails. Click on a thumbnail to produce the yellow box. Type cmd-V to paste in the source document. Repeat these steps for each of the source documents. Notice that you can reorder them in the target document by moving around the thumbnails.

Let us know if this solves the problem.

As far as I know, the Help clearly respond NO.

It describes:

+Using Hyperlinks and Bookmarks+

+Hyperlinks and bookmarks are used in documents that will be viewed onscreen, either as HTML files or as Pages documents. You can add hyperlinks to jump to another page or to open an email message or a webpage on the Internet. Use bookmarks to mark passages in the document that you want to refer to as you work.+
+Use this type of hyperlink To go to Notes+
+Webpage A page in a web browser Provide the URL of the page you want to open.+
+Email Message A new mail message with the specified subject and addressee Type the address of the email recipient and a subject line.+
+Bookmark Another page in the same document Navigate quickly through the document as you work.+

It never "speaks" of pages from "an other" document.
