Teeny Tiny Dock

I've just had something odd start happening with my dock. Usually I keep it small, resizing it down to it's smallest limit. When I put my computer to sleep, then awaken it, I find the dock has shrunk down super small, like 1/2 the size it was when it was put to sleep (the dock icons are about 2/3 the size of the cursor). I kinda like having it super tiny, so it's not really a problem- I'd just like to know whats up.

I would try repairing disk permissions to see if this has any effect on it. Also try:

Those solutions are NOT some magic voodoo, and only work for VERY specific things. In general, they won't have much of an affect, unless it is known for sure that there is a SPECIFIC permissions issue, or an issue with one of these: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1242

Sure, I can resize the dock from it's upper and lower limits using either the dock system preferences or from within the dock itself. The thing is, by doing this there is a set limit to how big or small you can make to dock appear. Even if I use the system preferences to set it to it's smallest size, it's still not as small as it is once waking from sleep. The only thing that is different, is that I am actually using "sleep" a lot more often- I used to just shut my machine down. Right now I'd say the super-tiny dock appears 100% of the time after waking from sleep; from a normal start-up cycle it always goes back to normal.
