sticking loop tempo to an imported mp3

Hi all. I've imported an mp3 track into GB and want to add some loops (mostly rythm).
How can I manually change the loops tempo and pitch to stick to the main track ??
Thanks for your answers

you need to figure out the tempo and key of your mp3, and set the project's tempo and key to those values

for the key you could fake it by using the region pitch slider in the track editor to change the pitch, but you'd have to do that for every loop you add, you'd be far better off setting the project to the proper key at the start
