Comcast Homepage with Safari

I am using the latest version of Safari and have Comcast as my ISP. It's not a huge issue, more of an annoyance, but when I start Safari and it goes to the comcast.net homepage the page drops to the very bottom of the page instead of the top. This only happens in Safari and not Firefox. Any idea what's going on and how it can be fixed? Again, it's annoying and not a critical issue.

Marc,

I have also observed that behavior with the comcast.net homepage, but it seems to happen only when the page is opened for the first viewing of the day. Subsequent viewings during the day result in the page being opened with the top of the page being displayed.

I have noted that the Comcast URL on my system changes from the bookmarked URL of http://www.comcast.net/ to http://www.comcast.net/b/

It appears that the display may be related to a cached URL, but try changing the bookmarked URL to http://www.comcast.net/b/

;~)
