Posting iphone photos to website over wifi

I'm considering the iphone to blog while on the road. I want to edit text and post photos I take with the iphone. The blog I use has an text editing tool and a tool to upload pictures from the web or a local hard disk. I've heard that the iphone can't upload pictures to websites like this and that the only way to share photos (without syncing to another computer) is by sending email. Is this true?

How do people post to photo sites like Flickr etc.

I have one, none

You cannot share pictures outside of email.

the pictures are in jpg format.

i'm not sure if flickr has this feature or not, but i've been using blogger because it allows you to update posts via email. the subject of the email will be the post title, and then the text portion will be your blog, and the attached photo will appear after the text. the only negative about this is you can post 1 photo at a time. but it works well.
