GRE PPTP VPN HELP!!!

Question, so I have gotten L2TP/IPSEC working great on my 10.5.2 Server. This is nice but at work I have to connect via XP and so I am trying to get PPTP working as well. my XP laptop works great when I am in my home network so I know its a port fowarding issue.

PPTP uses GRE and I cant figure out how to forward this traffic to 192.168.0.3, I would put my server in the DMZ but I have TONS of other computers and services running on my LAN that I need to foward to and my server is an underpowered MACMINI so I cant just throw another nic in it and use it as my router.

Any idea on what I need to do to get GRE and PPTP working on this?

Thanks

LOTS, Mac OS X (10.5.2)

You have a router at home you want to forward GRE protocol and TCP port 1723 to the Mac mini server?

It's up to the router to correctly forward PPTP and some routers just can't do it.

A "vpn passthrough" setting in the router could sometimes help or if it has a PPTP "preset"

Some people use an USB to ethernet adapter to get an extra interface on a Mac mini. The problem is drivers, www.sustworks.com has drivers for some USB to ethernet devices.

Or you can get another router/firewall, maybe even a Linux based one that only require a an older PC and some ethernet interfaces.
