My NewYork font has vanished from Pages

I recently upgraded from a G4 w/ iWork '06 (Pages 2.0) to a new MacPro. I reinstalled iWork '06 w/ my Pages 2.0, and now when I open up my old files, I get an error msg that says that the NewYork font is missing. I can't see it any longer in my Font Book. I now have Pages 2.02, but that didn't prove any help.

Does anyone know why it vanished? And how I can get it back?? It was my preferred font.

Thanks in advance

MacPro (early 2008), Mac OS X (10.5.2)

New York is no longer included with Mac OS X: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1642

There are some features missing from the font, so it may be a good idea to look for a new favourite among the newer fonts.

If you really want to continue using it, move it from your old Mac to your new one. I'm not sure if it is legal to copy it across, but moving it should be ok.
