How to fix video for MSN and Skype under OSX Pannther?

I have Mac OSX Panther installed and tried to find information about how to get skype and/or MSN to work with video. That what i found so far is only negative. Short version: No way that it works. I also read that video under skype works only with version 2.5 and this version don´t work with Panther!

I just wonder why? Because my camera works fine with IChat and i can record and take pictures.
