Airport Express N works with headphones
I searched the Internet far and wide to find the answer to this question. I ask two employees at the Apple Store and got to different answers, but both were not sure of them selves.
Let me say tis very clearly so that Google will pick it up:
Apple says that you must connect an Airport Express to a stereo or powered speakers to play your music remotely. Not the whole truth.
You can plug in headphones directly into the 3.5mm jack on an Airport Express with 802.11n and they will work flawlessly. In other words, the speakers need mot be powered. Apple's web site and descriptions surrounding the Airport Express are WRONG.
